Zusammenfassung / Abstract

Chemical Looping Combustion allows the process inherent separation of CO2 whilst producing energy from carbonaceous fuels. The process for solid fuels was investigated by means of steady-state flowsheet simulations. The simulations cover the range of conceptual planning of the 25 kWth pilot plant at Hamburg University of Technology and end with the in-depth analysis of the experimental results from the pilot plant equipped with a two-stage fuel reactor.
